Grímnismál (Or, the Magpie Play), follows Kat and Van, two musicians living in a small, quiet town in Washington who just can’t stop fighting. When Van brings home a pet Magpie in an effort to save the little bird from being slaughtered at a shelter, their world turns upside down. Strange things start to happen. Loosely rooted in Norse mythology, this new play brought to you by writer Alex Tuchi and director Tasha Spear examines the intertwining of knowledge, memory, autonomy and fate. An MFA thesis production by Tasha Spear.
