Covid Safety Policies
FRIGID New York is open and ready for you to come back to the world of theater! We are so excited to be back with you all in the physical world, but we are still taking as many precautions as we can to keep our audiences, performers, and staff members safe.
To that end, almost all our shows can be watched remotely via a live stream so you can still be part of our family without leaving the safety of your home. Plus, you can keep up with our work from anywhere in the world!
Our community of artists, audiences, and staff members is what makes FRIGID its wonderful self. We feel it is our duty to continue to do our part to promote the safety of that community while making it as open and inviting as possible. We are back to seating at full capacity, however, we ask everyone in our spaces to adhere to the following Covid safety policies:
- Proof of full vaccination (two weeks past final dose of Pfizer, Moderna, or J&J) against Covid-19 is required. We accept the following as proof of vaccination status: your US vaccine card, the NY Excelsior app or NJ Docket app, a photo of your vaccine card with matching photo ID, a non-US vaccine card presented with a passport and itinerary. If you cannot provide proof of vaccination, we will also accept proof of a negative Covid test administered to you by a professional facility (not a home test) within the past 72 hours.
- Masking is always strongly encouraged in closed and crowded places. While our spaces are well ventilated, they are also small. Most of our performances will not require masking, though we still strongly encourage it, and mandate it from our staff. Some of our shows, based on various factors, including community spread, special accommodation nights, staffing situations, and other things that might not seem relevant to you but are for us, will still require masking. We will continue to provide masks to audience members who need them.
All in attendance (audience, staff, performers, etc) must adhere to these policies or be asked to leave.
Please note that these policies are subject to change at any time as we reevaluate what is safest for our community.
