Funeral Food, A Staged Reading

A missing body, a Victorian funeral and a semi-functional family bring us on a erratic journey of what really defines the phrase “dysfunctional family.”

The Rourke family barely functions, but an unexpected suicide and missing body almost decimate the bit of stability they hold on to. Not even whiskey and absinthe can cure them this time. Elise is a control freak, Doyle is angrier than usual, Maura is drunk and neighbors find themselves in the middle of it all. "Funeral Food" is a play for those who have attended too many funerals, or enjoy a dark sense of humor.
