Rotten Apple

A woman raised by pigeons, an author famous only on NPR, and a devil worshipping cable company all know how to make it in the big city. Do you? Once you do, you may be too damaged to make it anywhere else... 45 min. New York, NY

Amanda Nicastro (Co-producer/writer/director) Amanda Nicastro is a REAL New Yorker having been born right here in New York City. Her parents, however, moved her to the cow laden suburbs of Concord, NC at the ripe old age of 7. She’s been back in the Big Apple for about 6 years. Her parents can’t understand why she moved back to this cement city of broken dreams. She caught the Fringe bug spring of 2015 when she took her first solo show about being a living kidney donor, I’m Just Kidneying, to the Orlando Fringe Festival after developing it at the SoloCom festival at the People’s Improv Theater. Amanda has directed for Emerging Artists New Works Series, taught with Naked Angels Theater Company, and created web/app content for Marvel Entertainment, Dynamite! and Nattr.
