The Where Project

The Where Project is a two act storytelling event. Artists, writers and performers share stories in response to the questions,"Where are you from?" in the first act and "Where are you going?" in the second act.

In answering these questions with dynamic, heartfelt storytelling and original music, The Where Project hopes to cultivate and share meaningful, hilarious, human stories that capture where we are right now. Past storytellers have included Jiehae Park, Kristin Parker, Chansoda Roeun, Alejandro Rodriguez, Kevin R. Free, Blake Noyes, Donnetta Lavinia Grays, Richard Reynal Thieriot, Alex Ubokudom, Mfoniso Udofia, Lauren Berst, Ben Charles, John Ford-Dunker, Tiffany Nichole Greene, Ross Luippold, Lakisha May, Marianne Miller, Molly Beach Murphy, Matt Zambrano, The Good Morning Nags, Lisa Kitchens and members of The Group Lab.

The Group Lab is an artistic home. We are a community of artists looking to foster vital new work that speaks to the present moment. We seek to connect artists and communities through events, resources, and a wide variety of productions. We are constantly reevaluating where we are as artists, and what we can demand of ourselves in a process of creative collaboration. Members include Vichet Chum, Emily Kitchens, Jenna Panther, Matthew Ellis Murphy, Kyle Schaefer, Jess Watkins, Laura Jo Schuster and Paul Kite.
