Thoughts of a Colored Man on a Day When the Sun Set Too Early Presented by Noisy Tenants Productions – Baltimore, MD Written & Directed by Keenan M. Scott II Follow eight young men as they try to find their identity. Journey into this raw view of heart wrenching subjects in a time when the black youth are expected to be imprisoned; "Thoughts of a COLORED MAN...” will have you question your existence while personifying emotions as human beings.

Keenan M. Scott II, a native of Queens, New York; completed his theater training at Frostburg State University (2009). Some of his theater credits include Of Mice and Men, ALMOST, Maine, Lysistrata and Othello. He would like to thank his caring and loving family & friends for their continuous support of all of his dreams. Keenan feels blessed and humbled to have his play make its New York debut in Frigid New York.


Nigil J. Whyte, born in Newark, New Jersey. Graduate from Marymount Manhattan College. Theater credits include TOACM (Oxford, UK), Outcry, Ruined, Piano Lesson, and Betty's Summer Vacation, TV/Film credits include HBO miniseries "Crime"(Fall 2015), TV One Network "Celebrity Crime Files", and  NYU Student Film "The Choice". I'd like to thank my mother, father, my 2 sisters, Nia & Nyla, and my grandmother for being my light & a special thanks to Keenan M. Scott II and the cast of TOACM.

Tyquan Payne, born and raised in Brooklyn New York studied Theater and Performance Art at SUNY Purchase College and also Atlantic Theater Company. Tyquan is extremely excited to be apart of TOACM because its a play that can inspire change. 


Ronald Emile, has completed his training at Marymount Manhattan College (2014) and the British American Drama Academy in Oxford, England (2013). He thanks his family, friends, and mentors for their unwavering belief in him and their unrelenting support. He's excited and thankful to bring life to the words of TOACM!


Shiree Nicholas-Christopher, a native Baton Rouge, Louisianan, is a graduate from Howard University (2012) and the Central School of Speech and Drama (2013, London, UK). She loves her family, her tragically-funny friends, and she feels blessed to be able to be a part of TOACM. Onwards and Upwards.
