A Bit Too Much Hair

A Bit Too Much Hair is a gender euphoric musical cabaret for thems, mens, femmes, and everyone in between. According to the Binge Fringe at Edinburgh 2023, "However you express your gender, and whatever form it takes, Butch Mermaid make you feel at home instantly in this uproarious gender reveal party for the ages." The 2022 New Zealand premier was nominated for Excellence Awards for Theatre for Social Change and Best Ensemble at the 2022 Wellington Theatre Awards. Theatreview called it “a big, silly party where transness is centred and everyone is welcome!”
