Booking Requests

Both our venues are available to rent for performances, rehearsals, screenings, film shoots, and classes. Our rentals are relatively affordable and afford you the freedom to do your thing when and how you want to do it. We don’t need anything from you but money and your commitment to do your show/use the space. And you don’t need any more approval from us than dates and times! If you’re doing a ticketed performance, you keep all your box office revenue. If the show does well, a rental can be more lucrative than a co-production. Our rental rates are available at the bottom of this page.

Apart from the space itself, we provide our performance rentals with ticketing service including listing on our site. We can also provide staffing for tech and/or front of house/box office for $75 per person per performance. Both our venues are equipped to live stream, giving you access to a world-wide audience.

Please note that the Kraine will not be available after December 17th.

The Rental Process

Because New York City’s venues vary widely, we highly recommend that you make an appointment to view the venue you’re interested in to make sure it’s right for your project. Spacing viewings for either venue can be scheduled here on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3pm to 6pm. Viewings will be scheduled around rehearsals and other bookings.

After seeing the venue or if you are already familiar with our spaces, you can request a space reservation here. We don’t do our invoicing through that system so you won’t be charged for the request and the pricing won’t necessarily be correct. You can also email us at office@frigid.nyc with any questions.

A member of our staff will contact you to confirm your rental details and answer any questions.

You will receive a contract and invoice. Half of the space fee is due at contract signing. The rest of the space fee and incidentals (including fireguard, projector rental, rehearsals, staffing, etc.) may be paid on a payment plan, all due before your first performance. Information on our rates in available below. We accept checks, cash, credit cards, and money orders.

You’re all set!
